The Top-of-the-line Hero with Premium WBT RCA
'AG' is the chemical abbreviation for 'silver,' and Kimber Kable's top-of-the-line Hero AG is a four-wire braided analog interconnect using stranded Hyperpure copper conductors. Premium WBT 0102 AG RCA fine silver termination gives this cable a solid edge.
Hero AG relies on the same advanced gyroquadradic geometry that's used to such great success in critically acclaimed Hero copper interconnect. The dielectric is clear Teflon.
Among its many other benefits, Hero AG offers increased noise rejection capability, allowing you to hear the details of your music as if against a silent, 'black' background.
Treating your system to Hero AG as opposed to lesser cables, you'll enjoy bass response that is tighter more defined. You'll also notice increased high frequency extension and bass impact. Increased midrange transparency and dynamics accompanies a wider soundstage. Vocals and instruments have an increased image focus, for extraordinary realism.
Premium WBT 0102 AG RCA Termination
Hero AG is terminated with the WBT 0102 AG, a locking RCA whose contacts utilize passivated pure fine silver. The body is constructed with brass and then platinum plated to give a nice asthetic appeal. The central contact assembly is made of Ultramid® and the negative contact uses Dyneon™. The barrel is comprised of brass with a shiny black piano lacquer finish. A characteristic impedance of 75 ohms makes this a perfect match for digital audio and video.
The locking RCA offers maximum contact pressure for a secure connection that also minimizes the transition resistance. Strain relief is effectively provided via a Torx screw.
