Three-Way In-Wall System
The PSB CW363 is a sophisticated three-way in-wall system that is an ideal solution for a 'no-profile' hi-fi or home theater set-up. It frees your room of bulky speaker cabinets and cluttered speaker wire, allowing you to enjoy PSB sound quality and a neat, clean architectural look.
The PSB CW363 has a unique tweeter waveguide called the SonicGuide™ that swings 30 degrees left and right (for 60 degrees total swing) to aim sonic energy toward the listening area. This SonicGuide is designed for an optimum amount of directivity control and to give consistent response whether aimed straight out or canted full left or right.
For even more flexibility, both the CW363's tweeter in its SonicGuide and a 3" midrange are mounted on a 6-1⁄2" rotating baffle. This gives you the ability to mount the system either vertically or horizontally at any height on a wall and still aim sound precisely as the listener. Just turn the baffle and angle the tweeter.
Midrange and tweeter switches allow for response adjustments, letting you customize the room to get the most out of speaker positioning or to suit your personal taste.
Fiberglass Textured Polypropylene Woofer
The large 6-1/2" woofer with a fiberglass textured polypropylene cone that ensures high power handling and extended bandwidth. The bass response dips down to a low 50 Hz for impressive low frequency performance from an architectural speaker.
PSB In-Wall Speakers
Sacrificing space doesn't mean sacrificing sound with PSB's high-performance, in-wall speakers. In the spirit of lifestyle media systems and clutter-free living spaces, PSB evolved the series from its traditional loudspeakers so that there is no loss in performance.
The CW-series in-walls incorporate the same speaker arrays as found in the company's highly acclaimed Platinum Series speakers to offer true audiophile performance. Each of the in-wall speakers is hand-built and backed by PSB's commitment to audio excellence.
