Was optimistic, thought it would be better than the built-in phono input in my Adcom preamp. It is a bit better in detail and slightly more natural in the treble. But the bass definition seems notably worse. Bass guitar seems relatively indistinct and harder to follow. Im leaving it powered up 24 hrs/day to see if burning in will help. But might be returning it, its not matching up to my Pro-Ject Xpression III turntable & Sumiko Blue Point 2 high output MC cartridge. Yes I have adjusted the impedence and capacitance loading to the cartridges specs.
