Updating a Proven Performer
Ferrite loop rod antennas have been around since the early 1950s. You'll find them in almost any radio that has a built-in AM antenna, from transistor radios to AV receivers.
Godar Model 10 AM antenna takes the ferrite loop design one step further than conventional designs. The Model 10 uses stranded litz-style copper wire. This gives the Godar more gain for better AM reception. In addition, the ferrite rod is cushioned on a bed of silicon rubber inside the ABS cabinet for added durability.
Home in on Your Signal
The Model 10 is a directional AM receiving antenna. That means you can easily rotate it to home in exactly on the signal that you want to hear while nulling out interfering stations from other directions.
The low profile design gives the Godar an additional advantage. Thanks to its 'stealth' styling, you can place the Model 10 on an upper shelf where it's out of sight and out of the way.

This is a passive antenna that uses no electricity. The included 75 ohm detachable six-foot coaxial cable is specially designed by Godar for high performance with this antenna. Easy tab connections and a proper impedance match allow quick connection to your receiver. |
