Perfecting Preamp and Amp Synergy
Preamp and amp synergy was Peachtree Audio's goal from the start with the Grand Integrated. The onboard 400-watts-per-channel 'Class D' amplifier was voiced to work in perfect harmony and highlight the sonic signature of a preamp section derived from the Grand Pre preamplifier. This combination creates a sound that is nothing short of awesome. The added ability to drive the most demanding speakers makes the Grand Integrated an easy choice for the discerning music lover who demands the dynamic range and SPL that only big power can deliver.

Built-in ESS Sabre32 DAC
The ESS Sabre32 9018 Digital-to-Analog Converter is widely recognized as one of the world's best 32-bit DACs. It's specially designed for getting superior performance from jitter-prone sources using Hyperstream Reclocking, a patented 'Time Domain Jitter Eliminator' that knocks down all incoming jitter to almost immeasurable levels. That means you can have unmatched audio clarity from all of your digital sources including your computer, digital streamer, CD player, and even your cable box.
The Grand Integrated's 24-bit, 192 kHz asynchronous USB input furthers the efforts of the ESS Sabre DAC. Asynchronous communication allows a high-precision clock inside the Grand Integrated to control the flow of information from the computer to the DAC. This further keeps jitter at bay by not relying on the less precise audio clock in the computer.
Galvanic isolation is another big plus for the Grand. It prevents electrical noise from entering the DAC on all grounded digital inputs. Any contamination due to the switching power supply, multiple ground points, and high speed processing is isolated from the DAC, so that nothing but 'pure ones and zeroes' reach the board. The result is better signal, less noise, and significant improvements in overall USB sound quality.
Bascom King Tube Buffer
The Bascom King Tube Buffer uses two musically legendary 12AU7 vacuum tubes to smooth the harsh digital edge found in compressed audio files and poor recordings. The headphone amp signal is run through the tube stage, so that you can plug in your favorite set of cans and enjoy that smooth tube sound in solitude. A tube bypass button on the remote control allows for solid state or hybrid tube listening modes.

The full function remote control includes phase inversion and tube switching which allows you to customize your listening experience on the fly.
For late night listening, double tap your currently active input button to dim all of the LEDs on the Grand Integrated's aluminum faceplate. That faceplate is over 1/2-inch thick with titanium buttons and engraved input names. This is a component that is designed to last.
The Ins and Outs
The Grand Integrated marries its advanced circuitry to plenty of connectivity. It includes two coaxial digital inputs, two optical digital inputs, and even a BNC digital input. Peachtree's new asynchronous I2S 24-bit/192 kHz USB input provides the best connection between computer and DAC.
