Address Verification

The Address Verification System (AVS) is a system used to verify the identity of the person claiming to own the credit card. The system will check the billing address of the credit card provided by the user with the address on file at the credit card company.

Please keep in mind there may be a delay in processing your order if the shipping address does not match the address on file with your credit card company.

Audio Advisor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, at any time.

Promotional Offers

Coupons

Coupon codes can be redeemed on orders placed online, fax, mail or via phone unless specifically stated otherwise. Coupon codes must be given at time of order, verified by Audio Advisor as valid, and funds reserved before the expiration date.

The coupon will clearly state the percentage, dollar amount, shipping, or other discount applicable. All coupons expire at 11:59 p.m. EST on the date of expiration stated in the offer. Refund value for each item returned will be reduced to reflect the value of the original coupon or discount applied. Coupons are not valid for previous orders and may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other coupons or special offers.

Audio Advisor will not be held responsible for the actions of third-party advertisers or discontinued, inaccurate, or misrepresented offers displayed on third-party advertisements.

Notices

Customers who place orders, create accounts on our web site, or order Audio Advisor products through third party web sites may receive email notices with important news about new products, special offers, or changes in our products/policies from time to time.

Newsletters

Audio Advisor offers several weekly email newsletters. Subscriptions to these newsletters are strictly on an opt-in basis only. Audio Advisor does not participate with companies offering unsolicited email offers (a.k.a. SPAM). Audio Advisor will not rent or sell your email address to anyone.

Customers may choose not to receive such notices by following the steps included at the bottom of the email received or by contacting customer service*. While most unsubscribe requests will take place within the same business day, please allow up to two weeks for processing.

Audio Advisor makes every effort to honor our customer's requests. If for some reason a customer receives emails after opting-out, please contact our customer service department immediately to address the situation.

Unsubscribe requests for emails received from third party web sites offering Audio Advisor products must be handled with the third party web sites through which the order was placed.

Terms of Sale

All sales are made subject to, and shall be governed solely by, the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflicts of laws principles, and any disagreement, dispute, suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to any sale shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Michigan located in Kent County and the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. By submitting an order, a customer irrevocably consents to the jurisdiction of any such court in any such suit, action or proceeding and to the laying of venue in such court, and the customer irrevocably waives any objection to the laying of venue in such courts and to any claim that the forum is inconvenient.

Estimated Shipping Times

The estimated shipping date posted on our web site is our best projection based on information gathered from our suppliers and manufacturers. We strive to be as accurate as possible, however delays in manufacturing and shipping are a few of the issues that may cause these dates to change.

Question:
Is that accurate on your website which states out of stock product(s) "ships in 3-7 business days" or would it take much longer than that?

Answer:
That used to be an applicable time frame. However, in 2021, estimated times of arrival (ETA) have been extended as there are many variables involved; global supply chain issues / global shipping delays / global labor shortages / etc.


Question:
When will my item(s) arrive?

Answer:
Audio Advisor will get your product shipped out to you as soon as possible, but please note that Audio Advisor is not able to guarantee any exact delivery dates. Once Audio Advisor ships your item(s), it is completely up to FedEx and the United States Postal Service to deliver them in a timely manner. We have received customer feedback that both FedEx and the United States Postal Service have been running behind usual delivery times. Causes for this include many variables such as; increased shipping demands along with labor shortages. Please be patient and allow additional time for your items to arrive.

Military Shipping

APO/FPO addresses receive free Priority Mail® shipping.

USPS has a 70lb weight limit and a maximum size limit of 108" in combined length and girth (distance around the thickest part) on Priority Mail® packages.

USPS guidelines state you must include your full name, the unit and APO/FPO (Air/Army Post Office™ or Fleet Post Office) address with the 9-digit ZIP Code™ (if one is assigned).

Shipping Exclusions

Audio Advisor ships products all over the world and while we have no standing exclusions, we reserve the right not to ship to a location.

Truck Freight

In the event that the product purchased exceeds the shipping limits of standard carriers, such as UPS, FEDEX or the US Postal Service, the product may be shipped via trucking service. If you are ordering via our website, truck freight costs will be listed on the product page. If you are ordering via phone, your Salesman will notify you of this at the time of purchase.

If a product not designated on our website as qualifying for truck shipping turns out to require it, you will be notified of this fact during order processing fulfillment and be given the option to proceed with your order.

International Orders

  • Addresses on all international orders are confirmed with the credit card issuer through our merchant services.  This can take up to 10 business days.
  • We will only ship to the billing address of the credit card used for the order as the international banks will not provide us with alternate shipping information verification.
  • Audio Advisor will ship products to countries outside of the United States where permissible by law and where allowed by the manufacturers we represent.
  • All international orders are shipped via FEDEX only.
  • International shipping charges are not provided on our website.  Once the order is received in our office we will contact the customer via email with their shipping options.  At that time they may choose the FEDEX method they prefer.
  • All VAT, duties, brokerage fees, etc.  will be assessed and asked for at shipping time.
  • Audio Advisor is not responsible for any fees associated with refused or unclaimed packages.  Refused or unclaimed packages will not be refunded.
  • All of the products sold by Audio Advisor carry a manufacturer's USA warranty only.
  • All international orders have a 30 day money back guarantee.  The international customer must contact us within the first 30 days to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA).  The international customer is responsible for all shipping fees back to Audio Advisor.
  • All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging with all the original documents, cables, remotes, etc. within 14 days of obtaining a return merchandise authorization to receive a full refund.
  • All shipping charges, VAT, duties, brokerage fees, etc. are not refundable.
  • If the customer fails to return the item in the original condition or if any of the original documents, box, packing material, remote, hardware, etc. are missing this may delay the refund and the customer may be charged the cost of the missing item(s).

Returns & Replacement

Audio Advisor is an authorized dealer for all the products we sell.

If you are not satisfied with a product, we will gladly refund the purchase price of the product or exchange the item.* Please notify your salesman or our customer service department within 30 days of the receipt of the product to arrange for a return.

*Restrictions, Limitations & Exclusions:

  • The original order shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping and insurance fees of returned items.
  • At the company's discretion and with advance customer notice, Audio Advisor's Satisfaction Guarantee may be suspended for specific periods of time on select products or orders.
  • Audio Advisor reserves the unrestricted right to refuse and/or cancel any order that it deems to be not in the best interests of the customer or the company.

Return Policy & Process

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number in order for our receiving department to accept them.

Process to return a product(s):

  1. You may only return products that have been purchased within the last 30 days.

  2. The product must be in like-new condition and packaged correctly with the original box, packaging, accessories and manuals. We cannot accept returns that are not in the original factory cartons. Incomplete or improperly packaged products may be subject to a restocking fee.

  3. You are responsible for shipping charges for return shipments.

  4. Call 1-800-942-0220, Option #1, to request an RMA number. All returns require an RMA number.

  5. Please print the RMA Number on the return shipping label affixed to the outside of the package(s). (See number 8, below.) Please do not write or mark on the factory cartons.

  6. Include a brief note inside the box explaining why the product is being returned, along with the billing name and address.

  7. For your protection, we strongly recommend shipping the package(s) via insured FedEx or UPS. Please retain your tracking number as Audio Advisor is not responsible for lost or damaged items. If the package arrives damaged or distressed, we will refuse it. You will then need to file a claim with the carrier to recover the insured amount of your package(s).

  8. Ship the package(s) to:

  9. Audio Advisor will process the return within 10 business days of receipt.

  10. Depending on the payment method, Audio Advisor will either refund the original purchasing credit card account number or issue you a refund check for the purchase price of your product. 

Damaged & Defective Products

If you believe that you have received a defective or damaged product, please contact customer service within 48 hours at 1-800-942-0220, Option #1. If a product arrives defective or damaged, and cannot be fixed with replacement parts, Audio Advisor will contact the carrier and arrange for pickup of the item. Please have the product repackaged with all the accessories.

We will not send out a replacement product until the original product has been received and verified defective or damaged. Please allow up to 10 business days from receipt at Audio Advisor's warehouse for processing.

Audio Advisor, Inc. respects the privacy of all of our visitors and customers.

Website: Our website uses cookies to track your shopping cart through our website and save you time. If you place an order with us, your personal address information is written in a cookie to your hard drive. The next time you visit us, you will not have to enter the information all over again. We customize certain content based upon your browser type and other information provided by the cookie. Customers: Audio Advisor collects information from customers that place orders with us, but that information is limited to the information on our order form and data collected by Google Analytics. This information is collected through a secure server, kept confident, and is used for the purposes of customer support and fulfilling individual orders.

Email Solicitation: Customers who place orders on our site may receive email notices with important news about changes in our policies or products. You may choose to opt-out and not receive such notices by contacting our Customer Service department by telephone at 1-800-942-0220, or by email at orders@audioadvisor.com.

Telephone Solicitation: Audio Advisor does not practice telephone solicitation of our customers or website visitors. We will not call you unless we require your assistance in completing your order.

Catalog Mailings: Customers who place orders or request catalogs will be added to our mailing list and will receive Audio Advisor catalogs by mail from time to time. If you no longer wish to receive our catalogs, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-942-0220 or email at orders@audioadvisor.com to cancel.

Rental of our Mailing Lists

Mailing List: From time to time, Audio Advisor, Inc. rents our customer list to other reputable firms with products or services we think our customers might find interesting. If you do not want us to share this information, you may, at any time, be removed from the list by calling Customer Service at 1-800-942-0220, Option #1, or email us at orders@audioadvisor.com.

E-Mail List: Audio Advisor does not rent our customer email lists. We reserve the use of your email address as our way of contacting you and will not share that with anyone.
