The SX-70 uses highly optimized woofer magnet systems to deliver controlled bass and high efficiency. They have a specifically treated paper cone to provide a smooth and even frequency response. And the silk dome tweeter delivers perfect accuracy and detail to ensure you hear every beat and every line of your music and movies exactly as they were intended.

The drivers are housed in a rigid MDF cabinet using CAD (computer-aided design) precision to ensure that the speaker dimensions minimize standing waves and unwanted cabinet vibration. Cambridge Audio also uses dedicated foam dampeners behind the tweeter diaphragm to reduce acoustic reflection while deepening the stage depth. The result is an audio performance with accuracy and cinematic scale.

The dual 4" woofers deliver bass response dipping to 65 Hz. The high frequency driver is a 1" silk dome tweeter. Sensitivity is 85 dB, impedance is 8 Ohms, and dimensions are 5.4" high, 14.2" wide, and 9.7" deep. Weight is 8.8 lbs.
