Pro-Ject's Accu Box S2 Battery Power Supply is a clean and accurate 'Accu' power supply designed especially for phono products. Providing superlative audiophile-quality power transmission, the Accu Box S2 has an incredible synergy with all Pro-Ject Phono Boxes and turntables.*

Using Accu Box S2 on any recommended Pro-Ject products results in a more homogeneous and spacious sound with better separation and imaging. The sound will come across as more 'cleaned-up' overall, giving you a relaxed listening experience with mind numbing sonics. Using battery power instead of a connection to household AC power lines delivers a quiet, noise-free power signal to your electronics.

Rechargeable Li-Pol Battery Technology

Accu Box S2 uses five cells or rechargeable Li-Pol batteries with a capacity of 2.6Ah. For protection of the batteries, Accu Box S2 incorporates over-charge, over-discharge, and over-current protections. This ensures the maximum life-span of the batteries. The Li-Pol batteries have a capacity of 2600mAh. Charging time is approximately three hours with outputs disabled.

18-Volt and 5-Volt Power Outputs

The Accu Box S2 offers two different power outputs. The 2.5mm 18V power output is designed to power most of the Pro-Ject phono preamplifiers and many other products.

The 5V USB power output is suitable for Pro-Ject's Pre Box S2 Digital, Head Box S2 Digital, DAC Box S2 +, Head Box S2, Tuner Box S2, Bluetooth Box S2, and other products.

The push button on the front enables or disables the rear-panel USB A and 2.5mm outputs. The LED above the push button lights up when the outputs are enabled.

Ground Connection Kills Turntable Hum

Electrical hum is a problem with many turntables. Usually this is due to a grounding problem. The Accu Box S2 offers a highly effective built-in ground connection for turntables, which kills all possible hum.
