MartinLogan is a growing company with an internationally recognized brand, a top-notch team, superior design and technology, and smart customers who value its extraordinary speakers. In 1980, MartinLogan's founders Gayle Martin Sanders and Ron Logan Sutherland developed the company's first electrostatic speaker in their Lawrence, Kansas headquarters. By the time of the 1983 CES Consumer Electronics Show, they had developed a full-range hybrid electrostatic loudspeaker they called the Monolith.
Now firmly established as a loudspeaker 'technology' company (not just an 'electrostatic' company) MartinLogan ventured where few high-performance speaker companies dare to tread... inside of a wall. The Voyage and Passage in-wall loudspeakers (released 2004) challenged the audio industry by releasing in-wall speakers with true high-performance sound. Since then MartinLogan has continued to expand its product range with sound bars, wireless music systems, and headphones.
