Add a Phono Stage to Your A38
The movement toward digital music sources has left many a turntable lover high and dry when it comes to integrated amps. But not the Arcam A38 integrated amplifier. It includes an upgrade path for vinyl.
When you add the A85PH module to the A38, you add a single stage phono preamp that will accommodate both MM moving magnet and MC moving coil cartridges. A switch on the back of the module lets you select either cartridge type. The phono preamp allows you to plug your turntable directly into the Arcam A38 without the need for an external phono stage.
