Sensational Sound from Apple Players
Cambridge Audio's iD100 dock is the perfect partner for your Cambridge Sonata NP30 network music player. It delivers sensational results from your iPhone, iPad, and iPod via its high quality, low jitter audio output for the most realistic and dynamic delivery imaginable through your AV gear. And, yes, you read that right. This is the rare digital dock that works with your iPad as well as the iPod and iPhone.
Noise Cancelling Circuitry
Taking a digital feed from your device, a ground sensing pseudo-balanced noise cancelling system and buffered audio outputs extract every last drop of performance possible from your portable player. The pure digital data is then fed to your NP30, the digital input of an AV receiver, or an external DAC for the best possible conversion to analog audio.
Video and Streaming Services
It's not just about music, though. The iD100 taps the video power of your iPhone, iPod, and iPad through component video, S-video, or composite outputs using a three-position toggle switch. Enjoy YouTube, iTunes, iPlayer, and much more on your TV. The iD100 also revolutionizes the quality of streaming apps like Pandora, Rhapsody, Last FM, and more.
Rear-panel audio connections include coaxial S/PDIF and Toslink digital outputs. The AES/EBU balanced XLR digital output allows connection to high quality or professional audio equipment. The Type-B USB connection allows convenient and simple syncing to iTunes via your PC.
A slim-line wireless remote control is included for armchair convenience. It can also be controlled with the remotes supplied with most other Cambridge Audio devices.
The iD100's eco-friendly low-power mode is automatically activated when you remove your iPod, iPad, or iPhone from the dock.
*Important Note: At this time, the iD100 is not compatible with the third generation version of the iPad. Cambridge Audio is aware of this issue and is working on it. The iD100 is fully compatible with the first and second generation iPads. |
