The Balanced Reference Phono Stage features top quality parts and construction throughout, including separate massive cases, fully symmetrical circuits in both the preamp and power supplies, and stepped attenuated regulation.
A switch on the bottom of the chassis lets you select either a moving coil or moving magnet cartridge with unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs. Outputs consist of unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR connections. Amplification at 1 kHz is adjustable from 30 - 63 dB in 3 dB steps.
Extraordinary Power Supply
An extraordinary preamp requires an extraordinary power supply. The Balanced Reference has a very quiet dual power supply with four separate voltages per channel. The power supply is housed in a completely separate chassis for maximum isolation from the delicate amplification circuitry. It is 115-volt / 230-volt switchable. |
