Keep Out EMI and RFI

Keep airborne EMI and RFI noise out of unused BNC jacks and do it in style with Cardas BNC Caps. They fit over unused BNC connectors on the back of an amp, preamp, receiver, and other components to eliminate EMI and RF noise absorption. Unlike traditional shorting plugs, these caps do not short the inputs, and many components don't like shorted inputs.

BNC Caps are made of nickel-plated brass. The famous Cardas nautilus shell logo is 'floats' in a golden finish on a jet black background. The caps look so elegant, you'll be tempted to keep them on your desk. But use them to prevent both EMI and RFI from entering the chassis through the XLR connections. This is a more elegant and probably more effective solution than either shorting plugs or wrapping the plug in aluminum foil.

Cardas BNC Caps have the additional benefit of protecting the XLR input from dust and corrosion. When you're ready to use the input, pull off the BNC Cap, and your input will be clean and ready.
