Get Perfectly Focused Analog Sound
The best tonearm and cartridge money can buy won't deliver two cents worth of performance if you're using an inferior tonearm cable. Cardas Cross is exceptionally quiet, letting you hear the music signal instead of noise.
Complex Geometry
The light and flexible feel of Cardas Cross gives little indication of the complexity that lies beneath its turquoise jacket. The cable is constructed using a symmetrical quad-axial 17.5 awg "Golden Section" constant "Q" Crossfield litz conductor of Pure Copper. The 136 discrete conductors ensure maximum signal transfer, while the double shielding screens out EMI and RFI noise. Insulation is pure teflon combined with air dielectric to keep energy accumulation to the barest minimum. The urethane outer jacket flexes easily.
Award Winning Design
The Constant "Q" design of Cardas Cross arranges different diameter conductors in ascending order of strand cross-section from the center toward the cable outer circumference. Conductors are sized according to Cardas' proprietary Golden Section Stranding, which earned the company an award for "The Most Significant Contribution of the Advancement of High End Audio in Cable and Accessory Design" from the Academy for the Advancement of High End Audio.
In real world terms, the ground-breaking design of Cardas Cross reduces cable resonance produced by fluctuating current flow for a clearer, more in-focus sonic signature. And that's just what your vinyl deserves. |
