Precision isn't optimized as a long distance transmission line, the way most video cables are. Instead, Precision is meticulously designed to have a constant impedance transfer in the lengths found in home video systems. The stranded constant "Q" conductor has a transfer rate to match its foam dielectric along with a progressive lay of Golden Ratio Litz that cancels the resonance originating within the conductor.
Precision uses 18 Pure Copper Litz conductors with 26.5 AWG and a braided shield that helps eliminate RF and EM noise. The outside cable diameter is just 0.230", making Precision ideal for unobtrusive cable runs and installation in tight places. |
