The Music Streamer II from HRT is a new design that takes off from the critically acclaimed original Music Streamer models for better sounding digital music than ever. Music Streamer II is a USB digital to analog convertor designed to provide a high performance bridge between a computer-based music library and a home entertainment or hi-fi system.
Advantages of the Music Streamer II include 24 bit /96 kHz capabilities and asynchronous transfer mode operation with jitter performance that exceeds that of conventionally connected bi-phase (SPDIF, TOSLINK, AES/EBU) D to A convertors.
As with all HRT products thus far, the Music Streamer II uses a proprietary on-board power supply which completely regenerates and isolates power for both digital and analog stages resulting in an absolutely lack of background noise, hiss, or hum.
The Music Streamer II uses a TI PCM 1793 DAC supported by a sophisticated analog circuit that is optimized in terms of board layout to achieve unparalleled performance for a product at this price level.
Completely Isolated Path
With its unique topology, the Music Streamer II provides a completely isolated path between the computer and audio system. Because there's no audio contamination by the computer, your music will always sound its best.
Operation is simple. Just plug the Music Streamer II into any USB port on your computer and the Music Streamer II will install itself and be ready for use in a matter of moments. Connect the other end of the Music Streamer+ into any analog input and you are ready to stream high quality computer based music.
The Music Streamer II provides full support for applications such as iTunes and Windows Media Player direct to your home entertainment system, with a level of quality never before possible.
