Network Functionality for Music Streaming
With this 110-watt, 7.2-channel AV receiver, you can enjoy optimal surround sound in your family room, home theater room, or play room. The SR6007 features discrete power amplifiers for all seven channels along with networking capabilities that let you stream Internet radio services like Pandora or SiriusXM as well as more than 12,000 internet radio stations (SiriusXM subscription required). You can even stream music and photo files located on your home computer to your theater system. Marantz's optional RX-101 adapter (sold separately) allows you to connect the SR6007 with Bluetooth devices.
The Ethernet port also allows for firmware updates and remote maintenance. As an added convenience, the SR6007's three audio zones let you listen to music in one room while playing a movie in another.
Thanks to built-in AirPlay technology, you can use the SR6007 to play songs from your iTunes library on your home theater system. AirPlay enables you to stream music wirelessly from your iPod, iPhone, iPad, or the iTunes library on your home computer.
Play 3D and 4K High-Resolution Video
The SR6007 includes built-in 3D pass-through technology that enables it to route 3D video signals from a Blu-ray player to your HDTV. As a result, you can enjoy 3D Blu-ray in dynamic surround sound. The receiver also supports the 4K high-resolution video standard, allowing you to play 4K videos on compatible displays and projectors. The receiver supports both 4K pass-through and 4K upscaling technologies.
Send Two Signals Simultaneously
The SR6007 features two-zone audio capability, which allows you to listen to music in one room while playing a movie in another.
Seven HDMI 1.4a Inputs
Along with an Ethernet port, the SR6007 comes equipped with six HDMI inputs including one on the front panel and dual HDMI outputs that allow you to easily connect HDMI-compatible devices and two HDMI equipped video displays simultaneously. A USB port on the front panel lets you plug in your iPod, iPhone, or USB flash drive. In addition, the receiver employs 7.2 channel preamp outputs, 7.2 channel external inputs and phono input. All rear panel terminals are gold-plated.
Using a single cable, you can easily connect any HDMI-equipped source or display to the receiver. With support for 3D-capable TVs and Blu-ray players, the SR6006 has you covered with HDMI 1.4a compatibility designed specifically for 3D.
There's also a built-in video analog-to-digital converter for watching composite and component video sources on your TV through HDMI.

The SR6007's hi-definition audio support lets you take advantage of the latest surround sound formats. From Dolby TrueHD to DTS-HD Master audio, the SR6006's on-board decoding reproduces clear, 7.2 audio via HDMI. Source Direct mode switches off all unused circuitry for the purest audio possible.

Built-in Audyssey MultEQ XT technology automatically calibrates your speakers and equalizes your home theater system, resulting in clear, balanced sound, even in large or oddly shaped rooms.
