Exclusive Bifilar Choke Regulation
Choke regulation is a concept dating back to tube amp days. Musical Fidelity is the only company to use a version of this circuitry with solid state amps. Choke regulation offers huge power supply benefits, such as a reduction in 'sawtooth' power supply noise by 20 times and the elimination of higher order harmonics.
Typical choke designs can end up causing as many difficulties as they solve, because they create a magnetic field that has deleterious effects on the musical signal. But the dual mono, bifilar choke regulation system used by Musical Fidelity cancels out the magnetic fields that other styles of chokes generate. The circuit takes advantage of a tried and true design. The company has been using this technology since 1987.

Circuitry Based on Titan Power Amp
The M6PRX's circuitry is based on Musical Fidelity's Titan monster amp. It has eight output transistors per channel that deliver a huge 260 watts per channel power output. The technical performance rivals or exceeds most other power amps available, regardless of price. Lots of Connectivity
Connections include one pair of line level XLR balanced inputs, two pairs of line level RCA inputs, plus one pair of line level RCA outputs. Speaker outputs consist banana plug / binding posts for bi-wiring speakers. The 'Loop Out' output allows the input signals to be passed on to a second amplifier or other component. This is very useful for bi-amping.
