The Superior Satellite-Style Speaker
Although the Alpha LR1 is the smallest speaker from PSB, it still easily delivers unwavering performance. As "sub/satellite" speaker packages evolved as a popular choice for home theaters, PSB engineers worked to create an economic and effective solution. The result is a superior satellite that makes for scintillating cinematic surround experiences as well as serving up superb stereo sound.
The Alpha LR1 can be wall-mounted, placed on stands or fit into most entertainment centers to deliver maximum performance while still remaining aesthetically pleasing. The true 2-way design employs a single 3.5-inch mid-woofer paired with a single .75-inch ferrofluid-cooled tweeter. The result is an extremely tight sound with excellent imaging characteristics.

Hand-built Drivers and Crossover
The Alpha LR1 begins with a solid modular bass-reflex cabinet and loads it with PSB's newly designed, hand-built drivers and crossover network. The 3.5-inch injection molded metalized polypropylene cone woofer with damped rubber surround woofer paired with a single .75-inch ferrofluid-cooled tweeter deliver realistic effects and full-range musical reproduction.
A keyhole slot lets you wall-mount these beauties, and a 1/4-20 threaded brass insert is also included for ultra-rigid mounting.
