This precision phono preamplifier benefits from outstanding circuit technology from designer Dr. Sykora and uses premium components for the best performance. It supports both MM moving magnet and MC moving coil cartridges and uses a dual mono circuit design for best channel separation and an expansive soundstage. The output stage uses a matched pair of premium ECC-803 Golden Pin vacuum tubes.
Unique Continuously Variable Impedance Control
A unique continuously variable input impedance loading control on the front panel is convenient for setting and tweaking your low output MC cartridges. You can even make adjustments while your record is playing. Adjustment parameters are from a range of from 10-1,000 ohms, giving you lots of control.
Adjustable Input Capacitance and Input Gain
Other features include adjustable input capacitance for MM cartridges and input gain for MM and MC cartridges. A switchable subsonic filter prevents your amplifier and speakers from picking up a low rumble below 20 Hz.
All components including the tube output and polypropylene capacitors are audiophile-grade for a breathtaking sound experience. Connections consist of gold-plated RCA input and output jacks. The metal casework helps protect against vibration and interference. |
