The RS Vox offers unusually even tonal balance throughout the full frequency range and gives unrivalled reproduction of the human voice, essential for accurate dialog reproduction. Hand-Assembled Driver Units
All Rega bass and mid/bass units are hand assembled in house to Rega's exact specifications. This gives the company enormous flexibility in design and ensures Rega speakers produce a unique sound compared to OEM drivers purchased 'off the shelf.'
The RS Vox center channel loudspeaker uses Rega's classic RR125 Bass/Mid drive unit. The RS Vox uses a cast-alloy chassis 5.5" unit with a solid central phase plug and a 3.5" paper cone, driven from a .75" voice coil. The RR125 has a smooth clean response.
The RS Vox also uses Rega's new HF20-ZRR high frequency unit which is uniquely designed by Rega. By removing unwanted rear reflection the design of the ZRR tweeter helps maintain a distortion free response. This is a .75" fabric dome tweeter driven from a .75" voice coil.
Pride in Simplicity
The drive units in the RS Vox have been designed with great care. The crossover needs no additional filter networks to work with the drive units. Unlike most manufacturers who boast about the complexity of their crossovers, Rega is proud of its simplicity.
