'Tunable' Isolation Discs
Sweden's Solid Tech has created an innovative and highly effective component isolation system called IsoClear. These support discs use spring support to isolate components and combat vibration.
Each IsoClear component disc consists of a pair of acrylic discs sandwiching steel springs for 'floating' isolation. Best of all, you can add or subtract springs in each disc to fine-tune it for a specific component for best sound quality and optimum support by weight.
"Lowered The Noise Floor Quite Audibly"
In the February 2006 issue of England's Hi-fi News, Ken Kessler reports placing his phono stage on IsoClear feet and noticing that they "lowered the noise floor quite audibly."
IsoClear comes with three internal springs per disc capable of supporting 11 lbs. per disc. Four extra springs are included for supporting up to 23 lbs. per disc. |
