Premier Stand for High-End Loudspeakers
Target's HR High Rigidity stand is the premier stand for high-end loudspeakers. It features two rectangular columns with a very large cross section, providing exceptionally high mass. The columns are fillable with sand or shot for even more rigidity.
Bookshelf speakers never reveal their true potential when hidden away on a shelf. For the best sound quality, treat them like floorstanding models. Place them on robust Target stands that firmly couple to the floor and don’t resonate like a bookshelf or wooden furniture.
The Return of a Trusted Brand
Target Audio Products are built on the proven design concept of high mass and high rigidity. This principle was originally developed and manufactured by Target Audio Products of the UK in 1983. After too long of an absence, these trusted beloved stands are now available once more using todays' improved manufacturing methods.
Built in Canada, Not Offshore
In the past, Target stands were manufactured in the Far East. Today, Target Audio Products are 100% designed and manufactured by hand in Ontario, Canada, using the highest quality materials, tools and workmanship. Target products demonstrate a rock solid commitment to be the finest audio stand at an affordable price.
Unique, Highest Quality Features
Thick steel top plates are large enough to support most loudspeakers. Thick, welded steel brackets and 10.9 hardened steel fasteners provide higher clamping force and greater rigidity. Supports are roll-formed from heavy steel. An increasing cross-sectional area from the FS to the MR series can be filled with metal shot or other media to improve damping and increase mass.
There is NO substitution for mass. Target's high mass stands "couple" the speaker or equipment to the floor for their best possible performance and most accurate presentation of music. The large footprint resists tipping and won’t bow under even the heaviest speakers.
With Target stands, your speakers won't move back and forth, and they will not tip or slide. Floor spikes and rubber feet are included, along with top spikes and pads. These help to protect floors and speakers too.
Target Audio Products use environmentally friendly, textured powder-coated paints that are electrostatically applied using an automated line and cured at 350-degrees Fahrenheit resulting in a durable and attractive finish.
Easy to Assemble
Target stands require some final assembly with a single, simple tool, which Target supplies with each stand. Assembly is fast and easy.
Three-Year Manufacturer's Warranty
Target's shop in Ontario, Canada, uses the most modern equipment and highest quality materials available. But if under normal use you discover a defect as a result of materials or workmanship, your Target stand is warranted for a period of three years from date of production. Any repairs or replacement will be performed at the sole discretion of Target Audio Products.
