What You Need to Know
The Bowers & Wilkins CCM664SR is two speakers in one hole. A twin-voice-coil 6-inch woven glass fiber bass/midrange driver and two offset soft dome tweeters reproduce both stereo channels from a single ceiling speaker—the answer for hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, and any space where there's only room (or budget) for one speaker but you don't want to lose a channel of the music.
A two-position stereo/surround switch adds a second career: flip it and the CCM664SR becomes an excellent single-point surround channel for home theater. Installation is B&W-simple with QuickDogs plug-and-play mounting, an 8-inch cut-out, and a paintable grille protruding just 0.2 inches. Optional pre-mount kit and back box are available for new construction.
