Match Your DALI SONIK Speaker System

The SONIK CINEMA uses the same key driver technology found throughout the DALI SONIK series. This helps sound move smoothly between the left, center, and right speakers. A voice or effect can cross the screen without taking on a different tone as it moves from one speaker to another.

It is a natural center-channel match for SONIK bookshelf or floorstanding speakers. You can also use three SONIK CINEMA speakers to create a closely matched left, center, and right front speaker system.

Natural Vocals with Lower Distortion

Each Clarity Cone™ woofer uses a mix of paper and wood fiber. The light, stiff cone is made to respond quickly while keeping unwanted vibration under control. This is especially useful for voices, where small changes in tone can affect how real and clear a person sounds.

DALI’s SMC™ Essential Magnet System is designed to reduce distortion inside the woofer motor. The 29mm low-loss soft-dome tweeter handles upper frequencies and blends with the woofers at 2,200 Hz. Together, the three drivers provide clear speech, smooth music, and detailed movie effects.

Flexible Placement for Real Rooms

Place the SONIK CINEMA horizontally below or above a TV for standard center-channel use. You can also place it vertically as a left, center, right, or surround speaker. The DALI logo rotates so it remains upright in either position.

Front-firing bass-reflex ports make the speaker easier to place near a wall or inside open media furniture. For the best sound, keep the front of the speaker clear and aim the tweeter toward seated ear level. Very wide seating areas may get more even coverage when the speaker is placed vertically.

Connect the SONIK CINEMA to an AV receiver or amplifier with speaker cable. DALI recommends 25 to 150 watts of amplifier power. The speaker has a nominal 6-ohm impedance and 89.5 dB sensitivity.

The box includes one SONIK CINEMA speaker, a magnetic fabric grille, rubber pads, and documentation. Speaker cable, an AV receiver, a subwoofer, and speaker stands are sold separately. A powered subwoofer is recommended when you want the deepest movie effects.
