A Transport, Not a DAC
The Eversolo T10 is a dedicated streaming transport. It has no built-in DAC. Instead, it pulls music from your network or storage and sends a clean digital signal out to a separate DAC you already own or plan to add.
Streaming and networking hardware generates its own electrical noise. Keeping that noise away from the DAC's conversion stage is the whole idea behind a dedicated transport.
At the center of the T10 sits an OCXO crystal oscillator paired with phase-locked loop circuitry. Eversolo calls this its femtosecond clock. It keeps timing jitter as low as possible before the signal leaves the box.
An 8.6-inch touchscreen runs the interface, complete with ambient animations and VU meters. An 8-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage handles playback and the BluOS-adjacent streaming platform underneath.
Five Ways Out, Room for a Reference Clock
USB and IIS outputs handle the heaviest files. They pass DSD512 native and PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit. AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical outputs cover PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit and DoP64, for DACs that skip USB or IIS.
An external clock input accepts a 10MHz or 25MHz reference signal, at 50 or 75 ohms. Owners of a standalone master clock can sync the T10 to it instead of its own internal oscillator.
Two M.2 NVMe slots support up to 16TB of local storage, on top of the 64GB built in. A custom O-type linear power supply feeds the system, chosen for low noise over a switching design.
Networking runs over 2.5G Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, or an SFP fiber port. Fiber offers the lowest-noise connection of the three.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Jason Kennedy reviewed the T10 for The Ear in July 2026. He wrote that it "has a musical fluency that is particularly enjoyable" and that it "draws you in even when attention is diverted elsewhere."
He also praised its composure at volume, noting a "smooth sound at normal levels can be a monster one with the volume cranked up, yet it doesn't make your ears bleed."
Daniel Březina reviewed it for Best of High End in August 2026, calling its sound "neutral and crystal-clear" with "a completely clean output with no technical touch."
He described the T10 as feeling "more natural, with greater composure and a certain inner reserve," adding that it "renders the notes with superb clarity and precision" without sounding harsh.
Who Is This Transport Best For?
- Anyone who already owns a DAC they love. The T10 upgrades the streaming and clocking ahead of it, without replacing it.
- Listeners chasing the lowest possible jitter. Its OCXO clock and external clock input target timing precision specifically.
- Anyone with a large local music library. Dual NVMe slots support up to 16TB of onboard storage, no NAS required.
- Shoppers who want a quiet, isolated network connection. The SFP fiber input keeps network noise away from the audio path entirely.
- Not the right fit for anyone who wants an all-in-one streamer and DAC. The T10 has no internal DAC; you'll need a separate one to actually hear it.
How Does It Connect to Your System?
Run USB or IIS from the T10 to your DAC's matching input for the highest resolution support. Use AES/EBU, coaxial, or optical instead if your DAC doesn't accept USB or IIS.
Connect to your network over 2.5G Ethernet, the SFP fiber port, or Wi-Fi 6, depending on what your router and switch support. Add music to the internal NVMe slots for local playback without a network at all.
If you own a standalone master clock, connect it to the external clock input instead of relying on the T10's internal oscillator.
Pairs Well With
Building your system? Here are some great companions for the Eversolo T10:
- DACs to pair with its transport-only design
- Digital cables for its USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, or optical outputs
- Audio racks to give it a stable, permanent home
- Power cables to feed its linear power supply cleanly
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the T10 have a built-in DAC?
No. It's a transport only. You'll need a separate DAC connected to one of its digital outputs to actually convert the signal to analog sound.
What's the benefit of the external clock input?
It lets the T10 sync to a standalone reference clock instead of its own internal oscillator, which can further reduce timing jitter if you already own one.
How much storage can I add?
Two M.2 NVMe slots support up to 16TB combined, on top of the 64GB built in. That's enough for most local libraries without a separate network drive.
Is this meant to replace my DMP-A8 or DMP-A6?
Not exactly. Those are integrated streamer-DACs with their own conversion stage built in. The T10 is a separate category, meant to feed a standalone DAC rather than replace one.
What's the warranty?
Eversolo covers the T10 for one year against manufacturing defects, the same policy applied across its product line.
