How (and Where) Does It Connect to Your System?

The male RJ45 plug inserts directly into a network device. A standard Ethernet cable then plugs into the female RJ45 socket on the other end. The filter may be installed at several useful locations:

• At the output of a network switch.
• At an RJ45 wall socket before the final cable run.

For audio use, placing it close to the streamer is often the most direct choice because it filters the connection immediately before it enters the component. If clearance behind the equipment is limited, install it at the switch, router, or wall socket instead. No settings, drivers, firmware, or power connection are required.

Will it slow down my network?
