Masters Series Performance, Eleven Pounds of It
The M10 V3 is NAD's Masters Series streaming amplifier, and it is small. The chassis measures 215 by 100 by 260mm and weighs 5kg, with a Gorilla Glass touchscreen across the front. Inside is more than 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 4 ohms.
That continuous rating understates it. IHF dynamic power reaches 160 watts into 8 ohms and 300 watts into 4 ohms, so short peaks have far more in reserve than the shelf space suggests. The amplifier is HybridDigital nCore, NAD's Class D platform.
Your Turntable Finally Has a Home Here
Version three adds a dedicated moving-magnet phono input with a low-noise design and accurate RIAA equalization. That was the one obvious gap in earlier M10s, and it is now filled without an outboard box.
Everything else plugs in too. HDMI eARC takes the television, with coaxial, optical, USB-A, and stereo analog inputs alongside, plus aptX HD Bluetooth. Two independent subwoofer outputs carry an adjustable crossover.
What NAD Changed for Version Three
Conversion runs through an enhanced ESS Sabre 32-bit/768kHz DAC, the headline upgrade over the previous generation. BluOS handles streaming over Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi 5, with Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz, AirPlay 2, and Roon Ready all supported.
The amplifier measurements stay tight for a component this size. Distortion holds below 0.03% from a quarter watt to the full 100 watts. Damping factor exceeds 190, and channel separation is better than 83dB at 1kHz.
Let Dirac Take the Room Out of the Equation
Dirac Live comes with a calibration microphone, and the M10 V3 is Dirac Live Bass Control ready. Paired with the two subwoofer outputs, that means each sub can be integrated into the room properly, rather than simply turned up.
Signal-to-noise measures better than 85dB A-weighted and frequency response holds within 0.6dB from 20Hz to 20kHz. Custom install is covered as well, with Control4, Crestron, RTI, Lutron, and URC integration.
What Reviewers Are Saying
John Atkinson reviewed the M10 V3 for Stereophile on January 9, 2026. He ran it against a reference rig costing many times more and wrote that while the NAD had less low-frequency authority, "it was a surprise how close the NAD got."
Jerry Del Colliano reviewed it for FutureAudiophile.com on February 10, 2025. He wrote that "you can't find a more complete feature set than that of the NAD M10 V3 integrated amp" and judged it up to "that lofty of an audiophile challenge, and much more."
Both noted limits. Atkinson found the V3's "treble was slightly less forgiving" than the original M10 on recordings already overcooked in that region. Del Colliano thought "the remote on the NAD M10 V3 is somewhat limited," preferring a phone.
Who Is This Streaming Amplifier Best For?
- You want Masters Series sound without a rack — a streamer, DAC, preamp, phono stage, and 100 watts in a five-kilo box.
- You just started playing records again — the moving-magnet phono input is new to version three.
- You run one subwoofer or two — independent outputs with an adjustable crossover, and Dirac Live Bass Control ready.
- Your room needs correcting — Dirac Live ships with the calibration microphone included.
- If you drive large floorstanders in a big room, 100 watts is comfortable but not limitless. The NAD M33 V2 steps up to more than 200 watts per channel with the same BluOS platform.
How Does It Connect to Your System?
Speakers go to the binding posts and a turntable to the moving-magnet phono input. HDMI eARC brings in the television, while coaxial, optical, USB-A, and analog inputs cover your other sources.
Ethernet or Wi-Fi joins the network for BluOS. Two subwoofer outputs let you run a pair, and the touchscreen handles setup without reaching for a phone.
Then you run Dirac once and let the room stop interfering.
Pairs Well With
Building around the M10 V3? Here are some good companions:
- Speakers: A capable standmount pair suits its scale — see our Bookshelf Speakers.
- Floorstanders: 160 watts of dynamic power drives a real pair — see our Floorstanding Speakers.
- Subwoofers: Two outputs and Dirac Bass Control reward a pair — see our Subwoofers.
- Turntable: Put that new MM phono input to work — see our Turntables.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much power does the NAD M10 V3 deliver?
More than 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 4 ohms, with IHF dynamic power of 160 watts into 8 ohms and 300 watts into 4 ohms.
Does it have a phono input?
Yes. Version three adds a dedicated moving-magnet phono input. Moving-coil cartridges still need an outboard stage.
Is Dirac Live included?
Yes, along with a calibration microphone. The M10 V3 is also Dirac Live Bass Control ready for integrating two subwoofers.
Is it Roon Ready?
Yes. It also supports Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz, and AirPlay 2 through the BluOS platform.
Can I use it with my TV?
Yes. The HDMI eARC input takes audio straight from the television.
What warranty does it carry?
NAD covers the M10 V3 with a 2-year parts and labor warranty.
