Play Records Through Bluetooth or a Wired Audio System

The Pro-Ject E1 BT is a plug-and-play Bluetooth turntable made for simple vinyl playback. Its built-in phono preamp lets you connect it to powered speakers or any amplifier with a standard line input. A Bluetooth 5.2 transmitter can also send record sound to compatible Bluetooth speakers, headphones or amplifiers.

This flexible design is a smart choice for a first turntable or a clean system with fewer cables. Choose a wired connection for a traditional stereo system or use Bluetooth when running an audio cable is not practical.

Start Listening with Less Setup

The Audio-Technica AT3600L moving-magnet cartridge is mounted and adjusted at the factory. Pro-Ject also sets the tracking force and anti-skating before the turntable is packed. This removes two of the harder setup steps for a new vinyl listener.

You will still need to install the drive belt and platter, place the felt mat and attach the dust cover. Once those steps are complete, connect the power supply and choose a wired or Bluetooth audio connection.

Connect to Almost Any Audio System

The switchable phono preamp gives you two wired connection choices. Use the line-level setting with powered speakers or an amplifier that does not have a phono input. Switch to phono output when connecting to a receiver, integrated amplifier or separate phono preamp with a moving-magnet phono input.

The built-in Bluetooth transmitter supports Bluetooth 5.2, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive. It sends audio from your records to a compatible Bluetooth receiver. It does not receive music from a phone or tablet.

Built for Steady Record Playback

The E1 BT uses a belt-drive system with a damped DC motor and silicone belt. Its 300 mm ABS polymer platter has a ribbed design made to resist unwanted resonance. Vibration-absorbing feet help reduce vibration reaching the turntable from the shelf or furniture below it.

An 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm is matched to the included AT3600L cartridge. Electronic speed control lets you switch between 33 and 45 rpm without moving the belt. A hinged dust cover helps protect the platter, tonearm and cartridge when the turntable is not in use.

The Pro-Ject E1 BT is handmade in Europe and available in Gloss Black or Satin White.

Setup, Compatibility & What’s Included

For wired playback, connect the attached RCA phono cable to powered speakers, a receiver, an integrated amplifier or a separate phono preamp. Check the phono/line switch before playing a record. The wrong setting can cause very low sound or overloaded, distorted sound.

For wireless playback, pair the E1 BT with a compatible Bluetooth speaker, headphone or receiver. The receiving device controls playback volume, so lower its volume before connecting or reconnecting.

The box includes the E1 BT turntable, pre-mounted Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge, attached 4-foot RCA phono cable, felt mat, hinged dust cover, 7-inch record adapter and power supply. Speakers, headphones and an amplifier are not included.
