Solid Base and Sand-Fillable Pillars

Steel Foundation's solid base minimizes the speaker's loss of energy and optimizes sound reproduction. The base is made of a contoured 10-gauge steel plate anchored to the support pillars.

The support pillars consist of 2"-diameter contoured steel to minimize diffraction. Two pillars are used for added strength and rigidity, and they may be filled with shot or sand for added mass and resonance control.

Resonance Control Features

A unique resonance-damping ring is sandwiched between the top plate and pillars to further decouple your speaker for room vibration. The steel top plate includes both the Sanus adjustable speaker isolation studs and neoprene isolation pads.

Adjustable carpet spikes improve sound quality and add stability. Rubber feet are included for wood or tile floors. The pillars and top plate have a black powder-coated finish for lasting beauty.
