The Bowers & Wilkins ISW-3 is an incredibly versatile and compact in-wall and in-ceiling subwoofer, capable of providing high-quality bass output in spaces that may have previously missed out on this vital element, including kitchen cabinets! Yes, it's really that compact and truly that versatile.
Its balanced design, featuring 2 x 6.5" drivers, means that it can be placed in a variety of locations without causing vibrations. And the ISW-3 is not shrinking violet when it comes to amplification. Powered by a separate audiophile-standard 250W Class D amplifier (mandatory, sold separately), the rack-mount SA250 Mk2, the system delivers deep and satisfying bass with built-in subwoofer equalization. And it keeps its cool even when you listening to demanding movie soundtracks at high volumes.
The ISW-3 / SA250 Mk2 system has balanced XLR inputs and outputs, unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs, 1 x Neutrik® Speakon® 4-pole speaker connector, 2 x pairs of binding posts, and 3.5mm 12-volt triggers. Front-panel controls consist of volume, phase, crossover, bass extension, and EQ.
