The Hi-Res Rebirth of an Iconic Music Player
When it launched in 2007, the original Zeppelin defined an entirely new category, offering room-filling sound from a powerful single-speaker music player. The new Zeppelin from Bowers and Wilkins updates an iconic design and makes it even more appealing for the streaming age, combining best-in-class sound with a comprehensive range of smart, connected features and services.
With the new Zeppelin, you no longer have to choose between a fully featured wireless speaker with the streaming services you need and a beautiful product with the sound you want. You can have both. This is the Zeppelin you've always wanted.
An Iconic, Unforgettable Design
Zeppelin is an icon, the only single-box speaker system that is instantly identifiable. For over 15 years, each new-generation Zeppelin has been truly beautiful and unique design in its class. Its distinctive shape cannot be confused with any other music component. And, like all of Bowers and Wilkins' industrial designs, its shape is underpinned by solid acoustic principles.
Extraordinary Sound Quality
Forget the closed-in sound of most one-box wireless speaker systems. Zeppelin gives you true stereo performance from a room-filling, powerful-sounding package that still sounds musical and insightful. Every generation of Zeppelin has been one of the best-sounding systems in and above its class. The new Zeppelin combines proven drive unit technology derived from Bowers and Wilkins highly successful speaker ranges with a new high-resolution streaming platform. It is the best Zeppelin yet.
Proven Sonic Ingredients
The new Zeppelin is built on the proven acoustic platform of the Zeppelin Wireless. This includes a thick-wall-section FEA-optimized enclosure with five channels of power amplification. There are stereo modules dedicated to the left and right tweeters and the left and right midrange drive units, respectively. The final stereo module is ‘bridged’ to power the single central woofer. Total power output is a room-filling 130 watts.
For high frequency reproduction, the Zeppelin uses the same 1.0" Double Dome tweeter found in the Bowers and Wilkins 600 Series Anniversary Edition bookshelf speaker. For the midrange, it boasts the proprietary Fixed Suspension Transducer (FST) technology in a pair of 3.5" drive units found in all Bowers and Wilkins premium floorstanding speakers, including the reference 800 Series Diamond models. For bass, there’s a revised 6" subwoofer developed from the Zeppelin Wireless.
The Music You Love, Instantly
This is the first Zeppelin to offer both high-resolution 24-bit, 96 kHz playback and access to a wide range of music streaming services, thanks to the Bowers & Wilkins Music App. Listen to Deezer, Soundcloud, TiDAL and much more, all from one elegant App, available for both Android and iOS devices. Bowers and Wilkins will add even more services to the App over the coming months. Support for Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth AptX Adaptive ensures ample support for other music sources.
Built-in Amazon Alexa voice control means you can easily play your favorite song, channel, or playlist with just a voice command. Whatever you want to listen to, the new Zeppelin has you covered.
