Configuration Flexibility
The AVR-X6800H offers many setup options and flexibility to adjust your home theater to meet your needs. Supports 13.4 channel processing capability, Preamplifier mode, and optional Dirac Live upgradability (with fee).
8K video is supported on all seven HDMI inputs and two of the three outputs. With HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR pass-through, there's no need to worry about video compatibility or picture quality.
The AVR-6800X supports the latest technology on all HDMI inputs and output. ARC (Audio Return Channel) or eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) makes playing TV audio through your AV receiver simple, with just a single HDMI connection. eARC provides HD and 3D audio transmission such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby Atmos, while ARC is limited to conventional 5.1ch audio formats or PCM.

Audyssey Room Correction
The AVR-X6700H features the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room acoustic measurement system. With the supplied microphone, it precisely analyses the output of each speaker to optimize every channel. Plus, the additional Audyssey MultEQ Editor app (available for purchase) allows advanced users to go “under the hood” for further adjustment and customization of your audio environment. The app is available for both iOS and Android.
Additionally, you can purchase a Dirac Live® Room Correction license key to apply state- of-the-art, patented algorithms to analyze and digitally reduce room impact and enhance speaker performance.
AL32 Processing technology
AL32 Processing, a Denon proprietary analog waveform reproduction technology, supports up to 192 kHz sampling frequency and 32bit expansion on your receiver. The technology thoroughly suppresses noise associated with D/A conversion to reproduce the low-level signals with optimum clarity that will bring out all the delicate nuances of the music. AL32 Processing Multi- Channel means the technology is applied on all channels and all input sources.
Setup Assistant
Award-winning guide Denon Setup Assistant provides simple, clear instructions to get started. Just connect your AV receiver to your TV and follow the instructions on the TV screen to connect your speakers, perform speaker measurements and connect source devices. For additional convenience, the AV receiver renames HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can rename manually at your convenience.
Dual Speaker Preset Memory
Store two speaker settings and switch between the two settings on the fly, giving you freedom to optimize your listening experience based on the content or listening environment.

Three-Source, Three Zones
This receiver supports three-source, three-zones. You can drive three different zones with three different sources simultaneously, or all with the same source. Use the receiver's internal amplification configurable in the setup, or use zone two and zone three preouts to connect with external amplifiers. One of the HDMI outputs can be used as a second A/V zone. Play your favorite playlists in your living room, kitchen and patio, or you can enjoy your favorite movies or the latest episodes from your favorite TV series with surround sound on your TV while the receiver plays HEOS music in other rooms.
13.4 channel processing, 11-Channel Amplification
With external two-channel amplification that can be assigned to either Front Left and Right, or a pair of height channels, you can setup a 13 channel speaker configuration such as 7.1.6 or 9.1.4, allowing you even more flexibility and elevated immersive audio experience.
Subwoofer Outputs and Settings
Immerse yourself in evenly distributed, accurate bass. Featuring up to four subwoofer outputs to smooth out low frequencies and provide better dispersion. No audible peaks or dips—just powerful, room-filling bass. Tweak your subwoofer settings to your preference when more than two subwoofers are connected. Select "Standard" if you want evenly distributed bass performance. Select "Directional" if you want more directional bass performance seamlessly integrated into the speaker channel closest to each subwoofer in the room.
Preamplifier Mode
Your Denon AV amplifier can work as a perfect AV preamplifier with the latest HDMI connectivity. Preamplifier Mode provides a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in clipping level by disconnecting internal amplifiers.
Add the flexibility to disconnect select speaker channels so that you can use the AV receiver's built-in amplification to drive non-critical channels to get a clearer signal path for the channels driven by external amplification.
