The T66 is the first model in GoldenEar's new T Series. While it boasts several significant refinements of the company's time-tested design concepts, the T66 is undeniably a GoldenEar loudspeaker, placing beautiful sound and music before all else.

The T66 received The Absolute Sound magazine's coveted Golden Ear Award for 2024.

Important Cosmetic and Sonic Refinements
Several important cosmetic and sonic refinements distinguish the new T66 from previous GoldenEar speakers. These include a dramatically augmented crossover design, high-quality internal wiring, a new cast-aluminum base and metal grille, and, in addition to GoldenEar's Gloss Black cabinet finish, a vibrant Santa Barbara Red.
High-Definition Mid/Bass Drivers
Cast-basket mid/bass drivers feature an improved yoke assembly to minimize distortion. The drivers also employ Multi-Vaned Phase Plugs, improving the ability to produce exceptional off-axis response for a cinematic soundstage and immersive listening experience.
Reference AMT Tweeter
A powerful magnet and motor assembly, along with many other internal details, make this folded-planar-magnetic tweeter clean, clear, and very efficient. Critically finessed wool felt on the mounting plate and elsewhere minimizes diffraction and bounce distortions.
Quadratic Planar Back-Wave-Driven Radiators
Quadratic Planar Back-Wave-Driven Radiators acoustically coupled to the subwoofers deliver extended low-frequency response. The results are improved low-frequency impact, and minimal distortion for surprisingly deep, well-controlled, room-filling bass.
Long-Throw Quadratic Subwoofer Drivers
The built-in powered subwoofer Built-in Powered Subwoofer boasts a 1000-watt peak / 500-watt RMS, DSP-Controlled power amplifier and two 5" by 9" Quadratic Subwoofer Drivers. The optimized subwoofer arrangement (one high and one low on the cabinet) produces better coupling of sub drivers to the passive radiators for approximately 1dB additional output.
