"Fantastic Streaming" with Upgraded ZENith Server
Pushing the performance of its popular ZENith music server further than ever before, the advanced ZENith Mk3 upgraded version includes a Triple-Linear PSU with Mundorf CAPS and custom-treated SSD. It is ideal for audiophiles who want a smoother, more relaxed sound with a wider soundstage compared to the already excellent ZENith.
With 4GB of dedicated memory, ZENith loads music directly to memory for playback so that it doesn't need to engage the SSD during playback, improving sound quality.
The custom-made Innuos motherboard is completely reworked for optimized audio performance. Sources of EMI have been removed and internal clock circuitry upgraded, resulting in a "blacker" music background and enhanced realism.
"Award-Winning Performance"
The Innuos ZENith Mk3 was honored with a "Recommended" Award from England's Hi-Fi Choice magazine.
According to reviewer Ed Selley, "The Zenith Mk3 delivers a potent and flexible spec with one of the best interfaces going and is compatible with Roon front ends. The price maybe high, but it delivers an outstanding performance that will inspire confidence even for those starting out in network audio, and so should be near the top of any shortlist."
Additionally, the Mk3 grabbed a top rating of Five Stars from head-fi.org. According to reviewer Third Eye, "There are significant sound quality gains to be had by using a digital transport solution like the Innuos MK3 with a lower noise floor and a more organic, natural sound that sounds more focused and unconstrained at the same time. I would highly recommend auditioning the Innuos line of music servers and for those looking to incorporate a music server into their system, be sure to add Innuos to your shortlist."
"Qobuz and Tidal Were Delights"
"Servers really are both the here and now and the future for the very best in digital audio playback helped in no small part by the ingenious use of ultra quiet power supplies. The Mk3 scores big on this; even better than my reference CORE," reports Anthony Kershaw, audiophilia.com. "Detail and musicality were marginally better on the Innuos, a real plum as the CORE has quite remarkable qualities.
"Qobuz and Tidal were delights, with Qobuz' HiRes files and Tidal's MQA support," he continues. "Both sounded fantastic streaming on the Innuos."
CD Player / Ripper, Internal Storage, and USB Output
Looking for a handy solution for your CDs, and an easy way to stream and listen to all your favorite music? The ZENith Mk3 has a built in CD player / ripper, and you can specify it with a 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, or 8TB internal drive for lots of onboard music storage. The USB 2.0 output lets you connect directly to all your favorite devices, such as compatible soundbars, AV receivers, or integrated amplifiers.
Ultra-low Noise Streamer Output
Dual-ethernet ports with isolation transformers provide an ultra-low noise network connection for your streamer, removing noise from the path and improving sound quality on all network audio.
"Shines Brightly, Priced Attractively"
"Innuos ZENith Mk3 on functionality shines as brightly as it does on sonic performance," notes David Grzyb, hifiknights.com, March 20, 2020. "All its noise removal traits kept the usual digital culprits at the door and provided firm substructure for tonal evenness, fluency, spatial might and wide dynamic contrasts, which in effect resulted in aural experience many seasoned aficionados would associate with costly boutique music boxes and not PCs.
"But overall balance is where Innuos ZENith Mk3 truly excels. Not only does it finely connect audiophile sonics with mainstream needs, but it also is priced attractively, considering what it does and how "
"A Spectacular Value!"
"The Innuos Zen MK.3 music server offers class-leading performance and some outstanding features. But most importantly, its sound quality is just superb!" observes Howard Milstein, thesoundadvocate.com, July 28, 2020.
"It reproduces music and sound with the utmost authority, naturalness, and “live’ performance characteristics while exhibiting a sense of ease and distinct listening gratification. This music server simply puts a smile on your face as you listen to it perform. What else can anyone ask for? A spectacular value!"
Anti-vibration and EMI Treatment
New asymmetrical isolation feet derived from the Innuos ZENith SE plus added treatment to the chassis help to combat harmful vibration that affect a clean audio signal, with even greater treatment now applied to the SSD.
Triple-Linear Power Supply
Inspired by the high-end power supply engineering of the ZENith SE, ZENith Mk3 benefits from new premium Mundorf capacitors with ultra-low noise regulators and a medical-grade mains filter to provide even greater audio clarity.
MQA Core Decoding
The ZENith Mk3 supports MQA Core Software Decoding. This means you can playback MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording. MQA Core software decoding is provided free of charge and enables streaming and playback of MQA files up to 24bit/96 kHz for non-MQA DACs and up to 24bit/384 kHz for MQA Renderer/Decoder DACs. It can also passthrough MQA files to MQA Full Decoder DACs.
(Please note that InnuOS Operating System 2.3 or higher is required for MQA Core Decoding.
