It all started with a simple three-speaker setup in the 1980s and gradually evolved to object-based systems with up to 20 speakers.
With the M6x 250.11 you can easily create a Dolby Atmos home theater setup (your active subwoofer is powered separately) and treat yourself to the full theatric experience of surround sound with height effects. You can connect your home theater preamplifier/AV processor with either RCA or fully balanced XLR cables. The XLR connection further enhances the sound quality and keeps the signal transmission clean, so this route is recommended if your pre/pro supports balanced connections.
Powerful Modular Amplifier Architecture
The multichannel M6x 250.11 amplifier is built in modular fashion with one 250W class A/B amplifier stage per channel for the main channels (C, RF, LF) and one 150W amplifier stage per effect channel. Musical Fidelity designed the amplifier to sound highly natural by retaining all transients and micro information. It preserves all the details and all the emotion, no matter what volume setting you prefer. Loud or quiet, this amplifier excels at conveying a cinematically realistic soundscape.

The M6x 250.11 offers a gold-plated RCA and a balanced XLR input per channel. As mentioned above, if you have XLR outputs on your preamp, experts always recommend using a balanced connection. This kind of signal transmission leads to increased dynamics, less noise, and improved signal-to-noise ratios, which is exactly what no-compromise home theater sound demands. If your pre/pro lacks XLR outputs, don't fret. You will still benefit greatly from the remarkable performance of this amp.
The gold-plated isolated speaker output terminals accept 4mm (0.15") banana plugs, spades connectors, or naked wire. The trigger input / output allows you to turn the device on / off via other components.
