Stereophile honored the SourcePoint 8 by awarding it the magazine's coveted Recommend Component status for 2025.
According to Stereophile, "KR [Kalman Rubinson] concluded that this is a balanced, wide-range speaker, enjoyable at all practical volume levels. Twin-Drive High-Flux Magnet System
The SourcePoint 8 delivers exceptional performance thanks to its innovative Twin-Drive high-flux neodymium magnet system. MoFi Electronics didn't just optimize the woofer and tweeter's frequency response, Andres Jones and company also prioritized reducing distortion in the motor structure of the drive unit. Designing the motor to minimize distortions ensures that the system generates minimal additional frequencies beyond the original signal.
The Twin-Drive system creates a fully symmetrical magnetic field, resulting in extremely low intermodulation distortion (IMD) and a pure, accurate sound.

Easy to Drive
With 87dB sensitivity, the SourcePoint 8 can be driven with as little as 30 watts of power. The nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a minimum impedance of 6.4-ohms means they are amplifier friendly. Whether you prefer tubes or transistors, your amp will pair well with these speakers.
Easy-to-Use Magnetic Grilles
It’s quick and easy to make your SourcePoint speakers more discrete for casual listening. The fabric-wrapped grilles attach magnetically and are perfectly form-fitting to retain the profile of the distinguished multi-faceted baffle. For the highest performance, you may wish to remove the grills while listening.
