To start streaming with Alexa voice commands, open the Alexa app and select “Skills.” Add HEOS Home Entertainment to enable. Then, go to Smart Home in the Alexa app menu and choose Devices and Discover or say “Alexa, discover my devices.”

Front Wide Channel Support on Dolby and DTS:X
With front wide channel support, you can add two front wide speakers with both Dolby and DTS to create a more seamless front surround stage up to 9.1.2 or 9.1.4 speaker configurations. For a 9.1.4 setup requires additional 2 channel amplifications connected to the SR8015.

All Zone TV Audio
Share the main zone TV audio in the second zone without losing fully discrete multi-channel playback in the main zone. Select “Source” for the second zone from the AVR remote app so that main zone audio will not switch to stereo PCM.
Easy to Set Up and Easy to Use
The SR8015 Quick Start Guide provides simple, direct instructions to get started. Once you connect your TV to the SR8015 via HDMI, the Marantz Setup Assistant appears on your TV screen and guides you through setup. The Setup Assistant helps you establish crucial settings for the best possible sound quality, whatever your configuration. The SR8015 will also rename HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can rename manually for your convenience.
Smart TV Connectivity
Easily control the SR8015 with your Smart TV remote via the HDMI CEC functionality associated with your Smart TV. Simply set “HDMI Control” to ON in your receiver, then set “Smart Menu” to ON to begin controlling the receiver with your TV remote. The Smart Menu home screen gives you quick access to source and surround mode selections, the AVR setup menu and four Smart Select options.

Audyssey MultEQ XT32 For Simple Setup and Room Calibration
Optimize your audio experience with Audyssey MultEQ XT32 for seamless setup of your listening environment. With the supplied measurement microphone, MultEQ XT32 analyzes each speaker's output (including the subwoofers) at up to eight measurement locations and generates precision digital filters that optimize each channel for the correct frequency and time domain response. Audyssey Dynamic Volume smooths out disruptive jumps in volume (such as TV commercials), letting you listen at lower levels while still enjoying clear dialogue, music and sound.
Audyssey Dynamic EQ provides full-range clarity at any listening level, and Audyssey Low Frequency Containment uses advanced psychoacoustic algorithms to deliver more full-range balance, including deep bass, without disturbing neighbors or people in other rooms of your home. Audyssey Sub EQ HT provides individual DSP tailoring of each subwoofer in a dual subwoofer setup for deeper bass with improved definition.
Audyssey MultEQ Editor App
The SR8015 supports the Audyssey MultEQ Editor App. Go ‘under the hood’, view and adjust settings for detailed tuning and customize the sound more precisely to your room and tastes.
View before and after results of the Audyssey calibration, making it easy to identify room problems Edit the Audyssey target curve for each channel pair to suit your tastes. The Editor also will adjust the EQ frequency adjustment range for each channel pair, let you switch between two high-frequency roll-off target curves, enable/disable midrange compensation to make the vocal region brighter or smoother, and save and load calibration results.
The Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, for Android and iOS, is available for purchase from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Built-in Dual Speaker Preset Memory
The new SR8015 allows storing of two Audyssey settings as well as switching between the two settings on the fly, giving you freedom to tweak your listening experience for the content or listening environment.
