Thicker, Stronger, Replacement Top Platform

If you have a heavier piece of gear that you would like to put on top of your Vulcan™ Audio Rack or Vulcan TT Turntable Rack, step up to the Vulcan Add-on 21mm Top Platform.

The Add-on Top Shelf is 21mm-thick, which is 40% thicker than the standard Vulcan rack top platform. As a result, the Add-on 21mm Top Platform supports up to 104 lbs. (47 kg) compared to 80 lbs. (36 kg) for the standard Vulcan top platform. The total weight capacity for a Vulcan is 220 lbs. (100 kg).

The Add-on Top Platform is 23.75" wide, 18" deep, and 0.83"-thick (21mm). The dense MDF shelf is wrapped in a special vinyl material that is attractive and very easy to clean. The vinyl finish resists scratching, scuffing, and most liquids. The front and sides of the shelf are contoured for a streamlined look.

Note: The Vulcan Add-on 21mm Top Platform replaces your existing top platform, so no additional hardware is required or included. This top platform is designed to fit the Pangea Audio Vulcan Racks and may not be suitable for other audio rack systems.
