Cardas Audio Clear Cygnus Speaker Cable

Revealing, Holographic, and Refined

It wasn't easy to improve upon Cardas Clear Light speaker cable without giving up its incredible value, but Cardas did it! Clear Cygnus is more revealing, more holographic, and more refined. Matched Propagation conductors help to provide a very open and dynamic sound. In addition, it can be internally bi-wired, which wasn't an option with Clear Light.

Advanced Conductors and Geometry

The Clear Cygnus conductors are braided Matched Propagation Kevlar core, Cardas Grade One 99.9999% pure OFHC copper with SPN clear coat (Litz), gauge sizes scaled to Golden Ratio proportions. The conductors use cross-field layer geometry, insulated in a PTFE tape and Electro-Dissipative dielectric.

The cable geometry consists of four concentrically braided conductors surrounded by anti-static fibrillated polypropylene fibers. The outside jacket is a soft and flexible TPE rubber.

Termination and Jacket

Clear Cygnus is available terminated with Cardas spades or bananas forged using 10,000 psi in Bandon, Oregon. It is finished in an ultra soft extruded TPR jacket.
