How It Works

The clever part is not the dissolving. Other parts of the formula stop dissolved contaminants sticking back onto the record. They also make that material rise toward the top of the fluid layer, where you can actually get it off.

That fixes the failure nobody talks about. You lift dirt out of a groove, the fluid dries, and the dirt settles straight back in. Loosening it is only half the work. It has to leave the record as well.

Why the Alcohol Is There
