A subwoofer almost never sits next to the receiver. It ends up in a corner or behind the seating, and the cable has to get there. This single 5-meter cable carries the low-frequency signal from your AV receiver, processor, soundbar, or preamp to a powered subwoofer. Five meters is about sixteen and a half feet.

Air-Tube Insulation, Because Air Absorbs Almost Nothing

Any solid material touching a wire steals a little energy from the signal and gives it back late. You hear that as blur. Boxer uses Polyethylene Air-Tube insulation, which suspends the wire so most of what surrounds it is air.

Setup & Installation

Connect one end to the LFE or Subwoofer Out jack on your receiver, processor, or preamp. Connect the other to the LFE In or Line In on your subwoofer. If your sub has left and right line inputs but no LFE jack, use the input your subwoofer's manual specifies. Push the plugs straight on rather than twisting them.

Most systems won't need the ground wire. If you do get hum, attach the small spade tails to a ground screw on the back of each component, or to any chassis screw on both the sending unit and the subwoofer. Keep the run clear of AC power cords where you can, and cross them at right angles where you can't.
