Twelve hospital-grade outlets split the load. Four High-Current outlets with Transient Power Correction serve amplifiers, powered speakers, and subwoofers. Eight Ultra-Linear Filtered outlets serve source components.

Non-sacrificial surge protection handles repeated 6000V and 3000A surges without wearing out. An Extreme Voltage Shutdown watches the line too. It opens the main relay in under a quarter second if voltage climbs to 140VAC.

Filtering matches the 707's wide-bandwidth approach. Differential-mode noise reduction runs from 8kHz to 1GHz. Common-mode filtering covers 30kHz to 100MHz. Both are rated above 23dB of reduction.

At 16.9 pounds and 14.9 inches deep, the 909 is noticeably heavier and larger than its siblings. AudioQuest built its internal components specifically for the higher current load.

The included 2-meter PQ-920 cable steps up to match. It uses a 20-amp C19 connector, not the standard plug on the smaller models.
