The four negative conductors wear a jacket of partially conductive carbon-loaded polyethylene, so radio-frequency noise drains there instead of riding back into your amplifier’s ground. A second carbon layer on the outside handles interference from the room. The positive conductors use foamed polyethylene, whose high air content stores very little energy.

Every conductor also runs in a tested direction, and the PVC pants are marked Amp End and Speaker End. Both ends wear Pangea Audio spades, each machined from a single piece of 100% tellurium copper, plated in 24-carat gold, and sprung to grip the binding post and stay put.
