The A30's linear power supply is really five: separate transformer windings for the CPU, each DAC channel, the headphone amplifier, and the clock, plus a super-capacitor UPS for safe shutdowns. That obsessive isolation is why the A30 sounds silent between notes.

The front panel carries a genuine headphone station: 4-pin XLR balanced, 4.4mm balanced, and 6.35mm unbalanced outputs fed by their own power supply.
