A Music Library That Does Not Live on a Computer

The ACS10 was built to take the computer out of computer audio. It rips your CDs, stores the results, edits the metadata, and serves the whole library to the rest of your system from one machine.

Ripping is one touch. A drawer-loading industrial drive reads the disc, AccurateRip checks it against a database for an error-free copy, and metadata and cover art arrive with it. Acronova's Nimbie autoloader handles a large collection unattended.

You choose where the files land, and you edit the tags afterwards on the machine itself. There is no laptop in this chain and no folder on a desktop to keep track of.

Two Big Drives, Mirrored

Storage is two 3.5-inch hard drives, in 16TB or 24TB configurations. They ship set to RAID 1, which means each drive holds a copy of the other, so a failure costs you a drive and not the library.

If you would rather have the space than the safety net, the pair can be reconfigured to use their full combined capacity instead. That is your call to make, and it is reversible.

Power is a full linear supply with a supercapacitor UPS behind it, so a sudden outage does not catch the drives mid-write. The chassis is machined aluminum, 27 pounds, 16.9 inches wide.

How Does It Connect to Your System?

Run Ethernet from the double-isolated gigabit port to your router, and control everything from the Conductor app on an iPad. Two further LAN ports connect straight to another Aurender.

To play through the ACS10 itself, take the dedicated USB audio output to your converter. The remaining USB ports are for external drives and the autoloader.
