Improves Sound Quality of In-Ceiling Speakers
The BB 6C back box is a pre-construction enclosure for select Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers when mounting in drywall and solid walls. It reduces the level of sound transmitted through the ceiling for a quieter home, and it also can improve sound quality by firming up the bass response of the installed speaker.
The BB 6C meets fire safety building regulations. It is compatible with any Bowes & Wilkins CCM model in the CI 300, CI 600 or CCM7 series. It includes a 1" layer of pre-installed insulation plus four 12mm mounting screws and instructions. Its use requires a PMK pre-mount kit (sold separately).
