The Bowers & Wilkins BB 6C is a purpose-designed pre-construction back box for compatible Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers. Installed before the ceiling is finished, it creates a defined enclosure around the speaker and helps produce more predictable performance from one installation location to another.
Its enclosed construction helps limit the amount of sound transmitted through the ceiling and into adjoining rooms. A preinstalled 1-inch layer of insulation further controls unwanted acoustic energy, while the fixed internal volume can give the installed speaker firmer, more consistent bass response.
The BB 6C is compatible with select Bowers & Wilkins CI 300, CI 600 and CCM7 Series in-ceiling speakers. It meets applicable fire-safety building regulations and includes four 12mm mounting screws plus installation instructions. A compatible Bowers & Wilkins PMK pre-mount kit is required and sold separately. The BB 6C is sold individually, so one back box is required for each speaker.
