Its 5-inch blue Kevlar bass/midrange driver sits in a rigid die-cast chassis for clean, fast bass, while the 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter is loaded with a genuine Nautilus tube that absorbs energy behind the diaphragm for low-distortion, highly detailed treble reaching to 50kHz. A three-position high-frequency switch tailors the response to lively, neutral, or damped rooms.
Installation is quick with B&W's QuickDogs fixing system and included cut-out template and paint mask, and the slim-bezel, paintable magnetic grille protrudes just 0.2 inches—visually gone once it's in.
