The Bowers & Wilkins CWM663 is the serious in-wall of the Performance Series—built with B&W's flagship-derived hardware. Its 6-inch blue Aramid fiber cone bass/midrange sits in a rigid die-cast chassis for cleaner, faster bass down to 45Hz, while the 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter incorporates a genuine Nautilus tube that absorbs unwanted energy behind the diaphragm, extending detailed, low-distortion treble all the way to 50kHz.
A three-position high-frequency switch tunes the treble to lively, neutral, or damped rooms, and installation is B&W-simple: QuickDogs plug-and-play mounting, a shallow 3.7-inch depth that fits standard stud walls, and a paintable grille protruding just 0.2 inches. With 88dB sensitivity and up to 150 watts of power handling, it anchors everything from stereo pairs to full in-wall theaters. Optional pre-mount kit and back box available for new construction.
