The Bi200 puts two of Bryston's best-known designs in one box: the BP-19 preamp and the 3B power amp. The result is balanced all the way, from input to output.

Discrete circuit paths keep distortion very low and the noise floor very quiet. Dual-mono build keeps left and right apart the whole way through. It gives 200 watts a channel into 8 ohms, rising to 300 watts into 4 ohms.

This Bi200 adds Bryston's optional moving-magnet phono stage, with 41dB of gain. A turntable plugs straight in, with no separate phono box needed. Six analog sources round out the inputs, split between balanced XLR and single-ended RCA. Bryston fits what it calls its most powerful onboard headphone amplifier yet.

The Bi200 is machined from aluminum and cooled by air alone. There are no fans to add noise of their own. Volume runs through a digitally controlled analog circuit. A soft-start chip eases the power-up. RS232, Ethernet and USB handle control systems and remote status.
